Star Wars Films Prove People Don’t Like Long Films About Councils

According to a scientific study undertaken by the hairy producer George Lucas, against all preconceptions, people don’t like to watch long films about councils.

As part of his experiment, Mr Lucas created a number of films of varying duration, each of which mentioned ‘council’ in the script on a varying degree. The results, plotted below, clearly show that as the duration and mentions of ‘council’ increase in a film, so the overall rating (aggregated fromĀ Metacritic) decreases.
